It's a tweet (reply) from Paul Graham, and it's been stuck in my head ever since I read it. The intensity = magnitude, subject matter = direction. You always want to direct this vector towards something you're curious about, then work towards that like there's no tomorrow. Optimally, curiousity + hard work

This is a classic. It's long, but definitely worth the read regardless of who you are or what you do, and it's doubly applicable if: (a) you're in college, (b) you're building your own thing, or (c) you're interested in startups
